Music from the 17th and 18th century. In this programme, we hear music of the Italian composer Giovanni Battista Vitali (1632-1692), who forms a vital link between instrumental music of early 17th century and the music of Antonio Vivaldi and his contemporaries.
We hear a cross section from Vitali’s oeuvre.
All works are performed by ensemble Italico Splendore.
