Space is the Place: NASA-Voyager Space Sounds.
In the year 1989 Dr Jeffrey Thompson of the Center of Neuroacoustic Research was approached by NASA with recordings made in space by Voyager I and II. It is said that in space there is no sound but there are vibrations; but there is no air to transport the vibrations to your ears. With special recording equipment on board of the Voyager spaceships it became possible to catch these vibrations around e.g. Jupiter, Neptune and the Rings of Saturn and make them audible. And hear.. the true music of atmospheres.
Within the next hour we will lead you through a compilation of seven different recordings that sometimes sound like choral and or whale singing.
You will hear singing bowls and sounds of the depths of the ocean. There is something in our subconsciousness that wants to connect with these sounds. Close your eyes and return to the beginning and the end of all. Space is the place.
