Contemporary Music

The Swiss- Austrian composer Beat Furrer turns 70 this month and has built an impressive oeuvre. In 1985, he founded Klangforum Wien, a contemporary chamber music ensemble. The anniversary box ‘Furrer 70’ was released this year, celebrating Furrer’s 70th birthday, and feature his most important chamber music works. We’ll play you a selection of the highlights of Furrer’s large collection of works.
