The baroque spirit in all his musical shapes. A double episode this time, with modern works, inspired by early music. Part 1: ‘Solve et Coagula’ by Guido Morini and Marco Beasley.

The contemporary opera ‘Solve et Coagula’ by Accordone leader Guido Morini, and on the libretto of tenor Marco Beasley, is based on the quirky 18th-century Neapolitan poet, freemason and alchemist Raimondo di Sangro.

First, part of another work by Guido Morini: Vivifice Spiritus Vitae Vis.
