Folk magazine with recordings from the last concert by of the Basque group Oskorri.
The group was formed in the early 1970s and has already been featured in Folk it Mediterranean.
Since the 1970s, it has been one of the most versatile and influential groups in the Basque country. The group has played many gigs outside the Basque Country and has also collaborated with musicians from both the Basque Country and beyond. For example, performances have been given together with Bulgarian clarinetist Ivo Papasov, Basque accordionist Kepa Junkera and Canadian La Bottine Souriante.
The group existed until the end of 2015 and during their last years of existence, they were mainly concerned with new arrangements of pieces that had been previously played and recorded.
The last concert on 22 November 2015 was recorded and released in 2016 as their final release. In this episode of FolkIt, 14 pieces from that live recording. They are broadcasted without interruptions.
