The Concertzender is 40 years old, this calls for a celebration!
Today, we are excited to present the third special jubilee broadcast! We’ve asked three (ex) programme makers to curate a two-hour programme. We’ll talk to them about the Concertzender’s second decade, and of course we will play a lot of music.
Presentation: Stef Lokin
This episode of Concertzender 40 years focuses on the second decade of Concertzender: 1993 to 2003. We will speak with Erik Voermans, Myrthe van Dijk, and Aad van Nieuwkerk about their work at Concertzender and their impressions of the Dutch music landscape during that time.
Erik Voermans was not involved with Concertzender in the 1990s but worked as a critic and music expert. Since 2022, Erik has been working at Concertzender as a programme maker.
Myrthe van Dijk was involved until 1993 as a permanent producer and coordinator of concert recordings.
Aad van Nieuwkerk served as director of Concertzender from 1990 to 1998.
