Today, the third and final part of our series about Dutch composer Johan Wagenaar (1862-1941).
Johan Wagenaar was a composer, organist, conductor as well as a director and govenor of a music school in Utrecht (and, after 1920, in The Hague). His work at the music school greatly influenced the Dutch world of music; among his pupils were Peter van Anrooy, Dina Appeldoorn, Jacob van Domselaar*, Emile Enthoven*, Henri van Goudoever, Alexander Voormolen* and Willem Pijper*.
