Veendam borne piano player Rein de Graaff (1942) has always been dedicated to bebop. Besides his own good contributions on the piano, he invited numerous, often forgotten, American boppers to come on a short tour of the Netherlands. It gave jazz lovers a chance to get to know musicians they would never, or hardly ever, get to see or hear in our country. In this programme, we present some examples of these musicians. This time: Al Cohn, Tom Kirkpatric, James Clay, Scott Hamilton, John Marshall en Herb Geller.
