Episode 1367. In our chronological approach of the cantatas, we have arrived at Bach’s deviant cantatas; either incomplete or as reconstructions. On Thursday we will hear a cantata for the third day of Easter. Today, we will start with the chorale cantata “Gelobet sei der Herr, mein Gott” BWV 129, composed by Bach for Trinity Sunday in 1726 or 1727.
