Three women: Andrée, Sehested and Maier. Today, three female Scandinavian composers take center stage.
Since Scandinavian composers tend to be a bit overlooked in The Netherlands, it has left us with a true goldmine of hidden talents to discover on our early evening stroll!
This episode features three very different female composers, all from the 19th century. Two were fellow compatriots, two were originally organists, but all three composed some interesting works and are perhaps worth to have a listen out for.
