Concertzender is celebrating its 40th anniversary!
Over the years, we have recorded many special performances in collaboration with Dutch (and now also Flemish) venues and organisations. In September, we will have a special anniversary festival with concerts to celebrate our anniversary. We would love to meet you on one of these days!
We are particularly honoured that three cultural friends have offered to celebrate our anniversary with them. We will be guests at the festival Muze van Zuid and Zaal 100 in Amsterdam and at De Link in Tilburg. With this programming, we can show the versatility of Concertzender.
Early music
For the seventh time, Muze van Zuid will transform the streets, squares, parks, private homes and monuments of Amsterdam Zuid into a lively stage for live music by top musicians. Music can be heard for five days. These two concerts with early music are especially recommended for our listeners:

Hollands Collectief makes the space of the Obrechtkerk shine, with universe researcher Galileo Galilei as inspiration. With music by Orlandus Lasso and Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, among others. More info

Poet’s love: baroque & spoken word

Crosslinks of the Concertzender
The Concertzender offers a much-needed place for music that you can’t hear anywhere else. The Crosslinks name includes programmes where our programme makers let us hear their discoveries, cutting across musical laws and genre thinking. Art institution Zaal 100 in Amsterdam also focuses on experiment and talent development. And they were also founded in 1984! We celebrate our mutual anniversary with a joint programme that fits in Zaal 100 and the Concertzender. Adventurous, dynamic and innovative are the key words. Let yourself be surprised in two halls by a crosslink of exciting new music. Details about the programme will follow.

Closing party: Concertzender 40 years
The festive closing of the seventh edition of the Amsterdam music festival Muze van Zuid is dedicated to 40 years of Concertzender! The festival has been playing old and new music for five days, with the same love for music as Concertzender. Star violinist Julija Hartig and her fantastic pianist Reineke Broekhans will play music by Isidora Žebeljan and Veljko Nenadić, among others. After the break, the acclaimed Oorkaan Ensemble will play music by Steven Kamperman, among others.

De Link in the Cenakel Tilburg
Celebrating together: 40 Years of Concertzender!
The festive opening of season 24/25 of De Link is our last anniversary concert. We celebrate this together with our friends in the South, with music by none other than pianist Antonii Baryshevskyi, accordion duo TOEAC and a discovery tour on the pipe organ by Oscar Peters. De Link is a concert organization for newly composed music in Tilburg, led by composers, musicians and enthusiasts. And where we have recorded concerts for our music archive ConcertPodium for many years.
