Don Rooke, Canada’s best kept secret.
For thirty years now, slide guitarist and composer Don Rooke from Toronto has been making a name for himself with music that is hard to categorize. He usually hides behind the band name The Henrys, a band in which he has been the single constant. Recently though, he went into the studio with his old friend and fellow guitar-player Kevin Breit and a brand-new album of the Henrys was released last month, called Secular Hymns & Border Songs.
