Into the wide world with a mouth organ.
The American Howard Levy occupies a special position among the virtuosos on the mouth organ, and not only because of his self-developed playing technique with which he squeezes chromatic scales out of a diatonic mouth organ. He likes to immerse himself in other genres than the Western ones and likes to look eastwards. With guitarist Miroslav Tadic and percussionist Mark Nauseef, he leaves his musical tracks throughout Macedonia and surrounding countries, and together with Rabih Abou-Khalil he dives into the world of Arab maqams.
