In part XVII of the etude series we will continue with the life-story and the music of Sergei Bortkiewicz (1877-1952), victim of history. He was often in the wrong place at the wrong time. Somebody once told him: But your life was very interesting and varied! He answered: Interesting to read about maybe, but not to live it, young friend.
